What a day

We had plans to visit our friends in Connecticut. Just as we were about to leave, we got a phone call from the husband telling us that he believes his father in law has had a heart attack. I am not sure of the details yet except that he made it through surgery. The next 24 hours are critical. I feel so awful for our friends. Ping was really disappointed we were not going, so Bill said that I better find something else for us to do. I did know there was a little fund raising carnival today in Northboro, so once I secured the information, we headed there. It was very lame, but Ping didn't care. She didn't notice. She went on a slide and a bouncy house. She also had some cotton candy and played a few games. She was happy, so that is all that matters. We then went to get Bill a hair cut. Now we are home. I am about to empty the ever full dishwasher and Bill is outside trimming the grass and cleaning out my car. I asked him to vacuum it for me. It's hard to keep a car super clean when you are always on the go and there is a small child that travels in the back. So it's nearing 5:00 pm and there are still a few things I would like to do. So I best get moving!!!!!

This past Thursday, Ping had a birthday party to go to at her classmates house. They had two ponies giving rides. She had a blast. Later that night, I got a facial. Donna gave me a Spa Finder gift certificate, so I found a spa in Leominster and headed there for a nice facial. Unfortunately, I asked her to remove a few hairs from my chin. They started when I was on infertility drugs six years ago. Needless to say, the woman not only pulled my hair, but some skin too. Sadly, the facial was great, but stung. When I got in the car, I immediately looked at my chin and sure enough, there was skin missing. It's healing now though.

Yesterday I took Ping to dance, but other than that, it was a peaceful day!

Off to post a few pics. Enjoy your weekend!!!!
